3D2N Wild Orangutan Punggu Alas Tour Adventure

Day 1 : PALANGKA RAYA – KARUING VILLAGE – PUNGGU ALAS

Upon arrival at the airport/hotel, you will be picked up transferred by car to Jahanjang Harbour (approximately 3 hours). From there, we’ll board a boat for a 30-minute journey to Karuing Village. Once we arrive, a traditional welcome ceremony will be held before we explore the village. Enjoy a delicious traditional lunch served in the village. Afterward, we’ll head deep into the forest of Punggu Alas, where you’ll check into a simple but cozy Forest Lodge. In the afternoon, take the opportunity to visit the nearby river for a fishing trip and observe the local villagers at work (optional).

Day 2 : EXPLORING PUNGGU ALAS

Start your day early with a boat ride to the Mirror lake, where we’ll wait for the animals to wake up. Enjoy a light breakfast onboard, accompanied by the sounds of birds. On the return journey to the lodge, you might catch a glimpse of Longtail Macaques, Gibbons, or perhaps even an Orangutan, if you’re lucky! Once we return to the lodge, take a refreshing swim in the natural black water. After your final meal, it’s time to pack up and say your goodbyes to your hosts. Then, we’ll head back to Palangka Raya.
