Tour River Rungan & Kaja Island

After a few busy weeks we sailed on the River Rungan. While enjoying fresh tropical fruit, we watched the young Orang Utangs learn to fend for themselves on the islands there, before being released back into the real jungle.

Dayak Village Trip

Wonderful trip to a Dayak Village upriver with Surtina as our excellent and knowledgeable guide. We were welcomed by the village elder with a traditional ceremony, and enjoyed a tour around the village in the company of the local children. We then shared seven spice coffee with the elder and learnt about the history of the settlement, and the plantation tour included trying our hand at extracting rubber from the rubber tree (not as is easy as the village elder made it look)! This thoroughly enjoyable trip was topped off by seeing a hornbill and proboscis monkeys during the klotok ride. It was a great way to get a flavour of the culture and beauty of Kalimantan. Highly recommended!

Paddle Board Adventure

First time trying paddle boarding on a river. Such an incredible experience. Enjoying the river and tropical forest Along the river bank. No matter of you can't swim, it's safe.

We are from Jakarta, come to borneo escape for an employee gathering. We have done the forest race adventure there. So much fun! And all people back home with happy & laugh! 😆 Furthermore, They have a proper facility, clean & modern, but still in sustainability concept, What a great job!. My favorit spot there is Kahiu Café, really calming, I love the ambience, the design and of course for fhe f&b.
