Day 1 : Into a wild
Begin your journey with a scenic 3-hour drive from Palangkaraya to Katingan. Upon arrival at Kereng Pakahi, continue by boat to the secluded Punggu Alas. Be welcomed with a traditional Dayak ceremony before checking in to your forest lodge. Enjoy a hearty lunch, followed by a relaxing sightseeing cruise along the riverside to spot endemic animals in their natural habitat. As evening falls, savor a delicious dinner, then gather for a cultural night featuring the soothing sounds of the Kacapi (traditional Dayak instrument) and join the joyful Manasai, a simple and fun Dayak dance.

Day 2 : Nature’s Awakening
Wake up early on Day 2 and head to the enchanting Mirror Lake to witness the jungle awaken with the rising sun. Enjoy breakfast by the calm waters, then drift silently down the river with the boat engine turned off—soaking in the pure sounds of nature. Afterwards, embark on a guided jungle trek in search of wild orangutans; if we’re lucky, we may encounter these majestic creatures in the wild. Conclude your adventure with lunch at the forest camp before preparing for the return journey to Palangkaraya, filled with unforgettable memories of Borneo’s natural and cultural wonders.
